I founded WerqStar Evaluation Advisory to help organizations strengthen their impact through evaluation, learning, and evidence-informed decision-making. My background spans public health, research, policy, and program evaluation, with experience across child welfare, HIV, health, and social services.

I believe research and evaluation are powerful storytelling tools to bridge the gap between community needs and the systems intended to serve them. I enjoy looking beyond what is happening to understand why it is happening, whose experiences are reflected in the evidence, and whose may be missing.

I bring curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to every project. I value working with and learning from communities, clients, and cross sector partners to develop evaluation approaches that reflect different perspectives and lead to practical and meaningful action.

I created WerqStar to help organizations reconnect evaluation with that purpose, ensuring that what is measured reflects what matters to the organization, the communities it serves, and the change it is working toward.

I believe programs should be designed and evaluated with communities, rather than simply for them. This belief sits at the centre of WerqStar.
